Manitoba Wildfire Services, volunteer firefighters from around Manitoba and crews from Ontario continue to hold the fireline north of the dump, and water bombers are working on the east flank by Election Lake.
It is currently raining in Flin Flon, and we hope the weather moves south to help with our efforts.
We are being inundated with questions about when the orders will be lifted and residents will be allowed home, but we must prioritize safety at this point in time. The RM requires collaboration from the RCMP, the Office of the Fire Commissioner, the Provincial Emergency Management Organization and Manitoba Wildfire Services before residents will be allowed back.

We remain in a state of emergency.
The evacuation order is still in place.
We will continue to update as the situation evolves and we get more information.
