The fire is currently tracking NW away from the community.

The fire break remains 2 km away from the highway thanks to the hard work of wildfire services on the ground & in the air along with heavy equipment.

The provincial EMO (Emergency Management Organization) has now arrived in the area and will continue to give us updates on the situation. We will continue to forward information as it comes.
