The R.M. of Kelsey is seeking full time Grader Operator/Equipment Operator. Wages as per CUPE Agreement.
Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Public Works Supervisor or Chief Administrative Officer, the applicant should have experience operating a grader. (Exceptions for the right candidate) Must also have a class 5 driver’s license. The candidate must demonstrate competency to operation of a grader and must possess the ability and willingness to perform/schedule regular maintenance and minor repairs on the equipment. The candidate must also demonstrate the ability to work independently and show strong leadership skills.

The R.M. of Kelsey is seeking a Full Time Public Works Employee. Employment is to commence as soon as possible. Wages starting at $21.65/hour and $24.32/hour after one year as per CUPE Agreement.
Job Description:
Work under the direction of the Public Works Supervisor or Chief Administrative Officer
Clearing snow at RM buildings
Maintaining green space throughout the RM including Valley View Trailer Park
In charge of summer students
Repairing and installing road signs
Manual / Mechanical brushing
Back-up Water Treatment Officer (or willing to take and complete required courses is mandatory)
Surveying as required
Animal control (Dogs, Beavers, etc.)
Gravel checking
Operating sanding truck, wheeled backhoe loader and grader
Other related duties as required
Qualifications: You will have completed a minimum Grade 12 education (GED equivalency) and possess a valid drivers license. Your abilities should include being mechanically inclined, as well as possess strong work ethic and willingness to be a part of a team environment.
